or has the place been abandoned?
We're experiencing some almost decent weather...it's not noon yet and 45F with a little bit of sunshine, so The Gang are crowded close to the glass door basking, enjoying the little warmth through the slightly opened drape. This fine spate is supposed to last until tomorrow at least. Weather folk are actually saying that we are in rather a snow-draught this year, despite the tons of snow that fell in December. Doesn't bother me in the least....c'mon SPRING!
I survived the daughter's birthday, and got a newsy email and pictures from her yesterday, thanking me for the amethyst necklace. There is one shot of her, at 50 now, and my granddaughter (from the younger daughter)...about 27 I think. I'm delighted to say one is hard pressed to even hazard a guess at either one's age...good genes in the pool somewhere. None of the women aged badly. Course...I'm the blackest sheep of the small flock, and now that I'm pushing 70 my features are pretty derelict, but tha's okay...I've got nothing to prove anymore so collapsing to a little ol' raisin is not a big deal.
Charlie are you still stopping by? I miss reading your posts. Hope all is well?
What's everyone else up to?

yes, I'm wandering. I too see the signs of aging when I look myself in the mirror. Inside though, the mind is still the same.
Have you heard anymore from Thomas about MySpace?
Hello Angh, how are you? I'm still about on a sometimes basis.. A little bit disillusioned with net-life.
Charlie, your friend's cousin neighbours brothers uncles room mate cell mate.
Dearest Anon...So glad you're still moving about in the shadows. I think I understand why you backed away from all the nonsense of cyberia...it can be irritating and sometimes downright spooky in my experience, but I'm delighted that you're still around. Please keep in touch with those of us who are richer for the experience of your excellent company.
In other words, don't get big headed but you do have a fan club, and we miss you.
Thing is, I was bored today.. devil, idle hands, etc, so I started a blog on Blogger
http://charlie-yertiz.blogspot.com/
so if you too get bored.
I'll look at yours if you'll look at mine.
Reb, Thomas is still mulling over what to do with the group. Who knows...
I've done as much as I'm gonna. *S*
Maybe the groups are best left to die on the vine, much as I hate to say it.
Yeah, the web keeps evolving. We've had chat, groups, blogs...I don't know what's next. I really can't get accustomed to Facebook.
Whaddya know about Freewebs, Reb? I read that someone dumped Multiply for there...I'd never heard of it...
I had a long chat with Joanie today finally, in Google Talk. Sure was nice to catch up a bit...her wee grand turned 1 year in Dec.! Time flies...
I wander through on occasion. When I actually visit with my computer at home. Work has been interesting, fun sometimes, and just trying to get back into a regular routine again!
Glad to hear from you, Nancy...was beginning to wonder where you'd got to. Miss chatting.
Yeah..I know about Freewebs. That's another of all these hundreds of sites. There's one called .ning too that I think you can do a helluva lot of stuff with.
If they left Multiply for Freewebs, perhaps they were just too fed up with that type of blogging. I'm keeping mine up, but that whole system with the list that you feel obliged to check...sort of 'make the rounds'...I don't know. I have my Google Reader on my iGoogle and it's easier to scroll through that and see what's up.
